Michael Roffman
Michael Roffman founded Travaller in 2017 and serves as its Managing Partner. He is an advanced speaker of Chinese (Mandarin) and his experience working with Asia spans over thirty years, having lived in both Taiwan and China.
Michael’s private sector work experience covers a broad range of industry sectors including open-source research, non-traditional data acquisition and analysis, technology supply chains, industry analysis, and financial analysis. He also worked on Asia economic, trade, and CSR issues at both the State Department and the Treasury Department.
Michael holds a BA in History from Duke University, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and an MA in Chinese to English Translation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey (MIIS).
